"Tamins Treasure" is a beautiful acabin nestled in the woods and offering spectacular mountain views any time of the year. It is said that a picture is worth a thousand words, but some views leave you speechless. This gorgeous cabin offers all of the amenities of home and would make the perfect weekend retreat for friends and families alike.
Located in Chalet Village in Gatlinburg, close to Ober Gatlinburg, this cabin would be approximately 5 minutes from Gatlinburg and 25 minutes from Pigeon Forge. There are paved, curvy, mountain roads that are steep at times with switchbacks. 4 wheel drive vehicles would be recommended for inclement weather, and this cabin would not be considered motorcycle or trailer friendly. There is available parking for up to 3 vehicles.
This 2 level, 3 Bedroom 3.5 Bath cabin sleeps up to 10. There are 7 steps to reach the lower level of the cabin. On the lower level you will find a Queen bedroom with a full bathroom that has a combination bathtub and shower. There is also a washer and dryer area. You will find a living area with a large flat screen TV, a Queen sofa sleeper, a futon, chair, and a loveseat. There is also a pool table, a wood burning fireplace, and a bench style log table that seats 4.
The lower level deck has the relaxing hot tub perfect for soaking and enjoying nature after a long day of exploring all the area attractions have to offer.
On the upper level, there is a fully equipped kitchen, a half bathroom, a living area with a large wood burning fireplace, a couch, loveseat, and a large flat screen TV. This level has beautiful high ceilings and floor to ceiling windows that look out onto the back deck. There is a King bedroom with a small flat screen TV and a private bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub and a walk in shower. There is also a Queen bedroom with a private bathroom that has a Jacuzzi tub and a walk in shower.
The upper level deck offers breathtaking mountain views anytime throughout the year. In the back yard off of the kitchen you will find a picnic table and charcoal grill for your outdoor cooking needs.

I enjoyed myself
We stayed in Tamin's treasure 12/17-12/23 of 2020. Everything was amazing. The views are spectacular, and there's so much to do in the area. The mountain roads are no joke, lol. There were a few turns up there that had me tensing. =) Take a 4wd vehicle.
Ober Gatlinburg is just a few minutes up the mountain and has ice skating, a local wildlife sanctuary, a carousel, a roller coaster, and food to order.
The staff for the cabin are very responsive and professional. We didn't really have any issues with the cabin, and we got to see a bear cub. Remember to lock your doors when you park, as he managed to get ours open. No damage was done, but it was surprising to say the least.
Most of all, just enjoy the surroundings. 2020 has been crazy and we were grateful for such an amazing place to stay!! Thank you!!
We really enjoyed our stay at Tamins Treasure cabin. There where a few minor issues but we also realize the quick turn arounds between rentals. The jacuzzi tub in king room didn’t work, looked like a mold stain ceiling by fireplace but like I said that’s minor things and we didn’t let that stop us from having a good time. Seen a lot of bears. We would rent this cabin again.
Cabin was clean. Views were great. Could use a few more pans and towels. A couple lights dont work, 2 in the living room and 2 on the upper deck. Hot tub jets are weak. Had a great time with family. Cabin was cozy.
We had an awesome time and Bear Camp Rentals made certain our stay was good and were always available if a need would arise. This location is definitely not for anyone that is afraid of narrow mountain roads with hairpin curves. Once you get to the cabin it has a nice view and we enjoyed our family time together playing pool, checkers and cards. We did not use the hot tub because it was too cold outside to desire getting back out into the cold air but it is available for those who are looking for one. The one item that I would have loved to find in the cabin was a cheap hairdryer as I forgot mine. I would not hesitate to rent through Bear Camp Realty & Cabin Rentals again.

Great Cabin to stay in, very clean and plenty of room for a group of three couples. Beautiful View of mountains and downtown Gatlinburg. Would highly recommend this cabin for a small group. Office staff was very good and got us in the cabin as soon as possible. Even called to tell us the cabin was ready an hr ahead of check in.
Cabin was beautiful we saw the bears a few time wonderful experience.

Had family coming from north and south to meet in the middle and Tamins Treasure was perfect! The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked and everything worked. The views were beautiful and the bears were awesome to watch! The drive up the mountain was somewhat nerve-racking but it became just another part of the adventure.
Everything was AWESOME ! The staff was great that come out on the couple things that needed fixed or looked at. We loved it ! The cabin was beautiful and seeing the bears every morning and every evening was great ! A mommy with 4 cubs and a mommy with 1 cub and then two others. It was fun watching them at such a close proximity. hahahaha.
Tamins Treasure is nice and all of our family, who came from two locations in NC and one in Texas, seemed to enjoy it. I like the free fifth night. That, plus the fact that a friend recommended you, were the reasons I booked with you. We really liked having bears come through our yard pretty much every day, especially the mother and four cubs.
